Following the Government’s announcement regarding Covid -19 on Monday 23rd March we will be closing our retail stores across New Zealand at close of business Wednesday 25th March for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Hunter Retail Limited (Hunter Furniture and La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery) is committed to delivering on all customer orders once Government restrictions are lifted. Given the recent announcement, we need some time to work out what the impact may be for customers however we are unable to give any more specific answers at this time.

Some staff will be working from home and our teams are reasonably well equipped to work remotely and, in these unprecedented times, we will continue to do our best to answer questions you have and update you on your order(s) with us.

Our dedicated Customer Care Team will be available by email at customercare@furniture.co.nz and we will endeavour to respond to you in a timely manner.

Our After Sales Care department is closed during this period.  We will be unable to action any repairs during this time or provide you with any information around current repair jobs.

The company will be in touch with customers in due course primarily by email once we understand the logistical issues - rest assured that we will be working through solutions for our valued customers on a case by case basis.
